My fourth of July celebration has been mostly garden related. I spent much of the morning making water rings for my lovely plants. We are adding to our sprinkler system so they won't be completely neglected while we are gone on our honeymoon. Angie is coming over to feed the kitties, but I don't want her to have to spend the time it takes to water everything. Unfortunately, we bought the wrong size of some little piece so we have to go back and get the right size. All the improvements we do around here are so haphazard! Neither of us knows much about fixing things. We always manage, but it takes several tries. Thank goodness for Home Depot and their wonderful return policy! : )
