I hope everyone had as wonderful a day as I did. We spent the night at the in-laws last night and hung out with family all day. The weather was sunny, the food delicious, and the company charming. What more could you ask for?
Tomorrow, I return to work. I have truly rested for the last two weeks, thinking about school only a few short hours. I flicked that internal switch from "Teacher" to "Regular Person" so easily. Flicking it back to work mode is proving to be a difficult task, although I am sure it will happen all on it's own once the kids arrive at school. My internal child is kicking and screaming at the thought of an early bedtime and an early rising.
