Mikey and I can't just play a game of mini-golf. That is too boring. We have to make it interesting.

If anyone was really paying attention they would have noticed that our golf scores got dramatically better by the third game. This is not because we were getting more skilled. In fact, we got worse as time went on, rather than better. The truth is, we started giving bonus points. If you were the closest ball to the hole after the first round of shots you got a -1 to your score. And if you accomplish a "trick" on the hole you got another -1. Tricks were things like "go all the way around the island in the middle in the first shot without touching the wall" or "go between the red and blue barriers and hit the yellow one". We both had a couple of holes that we scored a zero on because we took 2 swings and scored 2 bonus points. Who said mini-golf was boring?

(I keep typing "mini-gold" instead of "mini-golf". Stupid fingers.)
